How To Tell If You're Prepared For Twin Stroller

Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

A double stroller will be essential if you're expecting twins or if you have two children of the same age. The best double strollers offer different ways to ride your children, including side by side seating and an attachment for boards.

The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's top stroller. It adapts to your family's needs effortlessly. It can hold two infant car seats as well as a toddler seat which makes it an ideal choice for twins from birth.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the ideal double stroller for families who are looking for a stylish, side-by-side double stroller. It's a bit bigger than other Bugaboo strollers however it feels sturdy and built to last. It comes with a handlebar that can be adjusted to retract and extend easily. It has a decent reach so that my husband, who is 6'1", can easily push it, even when it is full of weight.

The seats are comfortable and can be positioned to have one child sit on top of the other or have the children face each one. They can also recline separately from one another. The canopies are big and cover both fabric if desired. They're not very ventilated which makes them feel like an oven on hot days. There is  double pram and pushchair -a-boo to look at your children.

One of the most unique aspects of this stroller is its ability to grow with your family from the single seat (Mono mode) all the way to a double side-by-side stroller. It is the only double stroller convertible that can do this. It can be used with baby bassinets or a car seat.

It is easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces and handles slopes and steps well. The only issue is that it can be difficult to navigate through busy restaurants and shops. It can be difficult to fold the seat, particularly if it is connected. It's still pretty compact, and is able to fit through most doors easily.

There is an extra storage bin that is attached to the frame to the front seat in mono mode. This is ideal for shopping and other things. The main storage basket underneath the seats is large and can accommodate up to 100 lbs. This is more than any stroller we have listed!

Uppababy Vista v2

This stroller is among the top twin strollers for newborns. It can be used right out of the box as a double stroller and is compatible with many infant car seats and bassets. The Vista Upper and Vista Lower adapters let you use two infant car seats at the same time.

The V2 is an improved version of the original Vista. The toddler seat has been elevated by a half inch, the footrest is bigger and the canopy comes with an extra fabric extension that zips out. Also, the harness has been upgraded and no longer needs to be re-threaded, making it easy to adjust.

The stroller comes with fairly large wheels (8'' in the front and 11.5'' in the back) with strong suspension, which means it is able to easily navigate all kinds of terrain. The front wheels are made of rubber, which makes them ideal for navigating gravel, rocks and cobblestones. The rear wheels have more tread to tackle the grassy hills and sidewalks.

Another excellent feature is the possibility to connect a child's bicycle to the front of the stroller, making it an ideal option for parents who aren't interested in using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. If you have a child old enough to stand up, the Vista stroller can fit an additional child using its piggyback board accessory.

Vista is Vista is simple to use and set up, although it can take some time to remove all of the protective packaging. The instructions are simple to follow and there's also an YouTube video to help if you need more help.

Thule Urban Glide 3

The Thule Urban Glide 3 stroller is the latest version of the popular all-terrain stroller. It's designed to appeal to families who value style, sustainability and adventure. It's got exciting new features like a built-in foot rest and an updated reclined seat that promises the best comfort for children on long jogging and walks. Its sleek and agile design has been enhanced to allow for better maneuverability.

It is incredibly light, making it easy to drive and speedy to accelerate on the road. Its suspension is able to handle abrupt changes in the surface (like pavement to grass) easily and the oversized wheels provide ample traction for even the most difficult terrains. It is able to climb kerbs with no trouble and it turns in tight spaces like streets in cities with aplomb. It's also easy to navigate narrow sidewalks and overcrowded parks.

The new Urban Glide 3 is a superior jogger that provides parents with a great deal of comfort and convenience. It has a large canopy that offers excellent sun protection and an easy-to-see window that can be opened for peekaboo, a top-quality harness system and an integrated handbrake with a perfectly in-tuned lever. It also comes with plenty of storage options, including inside-seat storage pockets and a large cargo basket that holds up to 15 pounds and comes with an open-top cover.

This Thule jogger also comes with a bassinet, for strolling newborns and a double model to accommodate two children. It is compatible with car seat adapters so that you can use your child's infant carrier, and it features a simple fold that is one-handed, making it easy to carry or put away. It's also a green choice, as it uses solution-dyed fabric in its black color options.

Cortina Together

Created for the growing family, Cortina Together offers parents various seating options that let them adjust to the individual needs of each child and preferences. The double stroller's two standard seats have reclining backrests and independent canopy. They're also engineered to accept one of Chicco's #1-rated KeyFit or KeyFit 30 infant car seats in the front seat and rear seat (car seat sold separately) with the exclusive click-in attachment that eliminates the need for additional straps and bars, as many competing models require.

A comfortable 3-position handle can be used by dad or mom, and a zippered rear access basket offers plenty of storage space for gear. The wheels and suspension of the tandem double stroller provide an easy ride across any terrain. The one-touch linked rear breaks when activated by a toe-tap, making stopping simple.

In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high marks for ease of usage. This is based on how easy it is to fold and set up the stroller and adjust the safety harness and open and close the snack tray, engage and deengage the brakes, lift and carry the folded stroller like you would put it in a trunk, and for double strollers compatible install and take off the infant car seat.

This model has some shortcomings. First, it's heavy. It weighs 36.6 pounds when fully loaded, which is closer to the extreme end of our metric than the average for this group of strollers. Additionally, it is not able to see clearly in the back seat when the car seat is in place. In addition, the front tray release can be difficult to operate, especially when used for a long time. However, despite these issues, we still consider this to be a great double stroller that can keep your family together for years to come.

Jeep Double Stroller

Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller - an affordable, lightweight stroller for families with 2 children. The front lock wheels swivel and rotate for ease of maneuvering on flat surfaces, and lock to provide stability on bumpy surfaces. It also comes with an umbrella fold that folds down in a matter of seconds and can be set up for easy transport. Its light aluminum frame along with the foam handles and straps for carrying make it one of the easiest-to-lift double strollers we tested.

This stroller with a side-by-side design offers reclined seats that can be independently adjusted and foot rests for maximum comfort for both kids. Its oversized canopy extends to provide UPF 50 sun protection, and it has a peekaboo window that allows for easy monitoring. We'd like to see the canopy vented for extra airflow, however. We weren't a fan of the fact the fact that the cup holder sits extremely high on the frame. You'll need to bend down to reach it.

In our tipping test, the Jeep was able to tip over at 39 degrees of angle, which is above average for a double stroller. It's a little heavier and has more storage space for the price. The handles and seats are also well-padded.

This stroller is multi-functional and has three modes. It can be used as a wagon (for stuff) as well as a jogger mode (with two 5-point safety belts for children) or car seat mode. It can accommodate a single car seat for infants. However, pediatricians advise that you wait until your child is six months old before allowing them to run with them. It is available in black with a limited warranty.
